Shout Outs! 1. The Wilson Academy of Applied Technology (WAAT) WCS met the funding match necessary to begin work on WAAT, which is set to open as our 26th school in the fall. WAAT is an early college high school based at Beddingfield High and Wilson Community College. In five years, graduates will earn a high school diploma and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Applied Engineering Technology at no cost. All rising ninth-graders are eligible to apply. From her time spent at Wells Elementary to her current position, she has always been available to help me.
