Office of the Superintendent
The Wilson County Schools Public Relations Department is responsible for promoting the achievements of students and staff, building and nurturing public support, creating means for strengthening two-way communication and developing a better understanding of school district plans and goals. We work closely with the Board of Education, the Superintendent and all departments to share the district's mission, vision, strategic directions and goals through effective communication to all internal and external stakeholders.
The communication tools utilized for sharing information are:
- Automated Phone Call System
- Weekly OUR STORY email
- Local Newspaper
- Wilson County Schools website
- Social Media
We encourage schools and community members to send information about events, awards or honors. We'll include this news in the weekly OUR STORY email, website, social media or calendar, as space allows. We also welcome to share your photographs.
