Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are youth organizations designed to support students in career and technical education (CTE) programs.  CTSOs help to prepare high school students for the next step, whether it is post-secondary education or entry into the workforce.   

Association of Marketing Education Students (DECA): a state and national organization open to all students taking Marketing Education courses.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA): a state and national organization for middle and high school students enrolled in Business and Information Technology Education courses.

Agricultural Education Students (FFA): a state and national organization that serves students enrolled in Agricultural Education courses.

Technology Student Association (TSA): a state and national  organization for middle and high school students taking Technology Education courses.

 

Every high school has a National Technical Honor Society Chapter, to become a member

  • Be a Junior or a Senior

  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.5

  • Have completed or currently be enrolled in at least the 3rd CTE unit

  • Cannot have a grade below a B in a CTE class

  • Have a recommendation of a CTE teacher

To receive an honor cord at graduation, student must maintain all membership qualifications.
