Why I Teach
I teach to make a difference. I don't teach music so that my students will be world famous musicians or even expect them to play or sing their whole life. I teach so they will learn to appreciate the arts at a young age. I want them to learn how to express themselves and how it feels to be moved or move others with a piece of music. The arts were my saving grace in school, and I want my students to have somewhere to be pushed, but loved and challenged, but encouraged. I want them to know that they deserve everything the world has to offer!
