Gov. Pat McCrory visits Beddingfield High back button

On Fri., Feb. 6, Gov. McCrory visited Beddingfield High to learn more about the Wilson Academy of Applied Technology (WAAT) slated to open during the 2016-2017 school year. This early college/engineering program will provide a pipeline of graduates ready to enter the industrial workforce in Wilson. Gov. McCrory commended the leadership of WCS Administration and local industry leaders for bridging the gap between commerce and education. "This is exactly the model we want across the state, and Wilson is leading the way. Y'all are ahead of the game, and I'm proud of you." Special thanks to all those involved in making this a successful visit!
