Graduation Times

The graduations for our three traditional high schools will all be held on Sat., June 8 at the schools by ticket only. The times are: Fike at 10 a.m., Hunt at 1 p.m. and Beddingfield at 4 p.m. The ceremonies will be broadcast live on Time Warner Cable and Greenlight Channel 22.

Board of Education Meeting - May 20

The Wilson County Board of Education will meet for its regular meeting on May 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Central Office Boardroom (113 NE Tarboro St.).

Shout Out! to our new Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Dr. Norris Parker! He was featured today in The Wilson Times. We are so happy to have him as a part of the WCS Family!

Top 10 Candidates for 2019-20 WCS Teacher of the Year

Shout Out! to the Top 10 candidates for 2019-2020 WCS Teacher of the Year! They were interviewed this week by a panel of judges, and the field will be narrowed to three finalists next week! The winner will be revealed at a special event on May 21. The Top 10 are:

New Assistant Superintendent Named

Dr. Norris Parker has been named the Wilson County Schools Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. He is currently the Chief Administrative Officer and Director of Human Resources for Perquimans County Schools.
