Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Wilson County Schools is pleased to partner with McLaughlin Young, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), that is geared to provide services to all WCS employees and their immediate family members.  There is no enrollment required, and you are immediately eligible to use the employee assistance program through McLaughlin Young.  

The EAP offers help for personal and/or professional concerns by providing free, confidential, short-term counseling and personal consultation.  Additionally, the EAP provides work-life resources for such issues as legal and financial consultations, online learning and resources. The EAP has a network of counselors that are conveniently located.  They can help you improve or resolve personal difficulties whether big or small, personal or work-related.

Some examples of concerns that the EAP addresses include: Family and relationship issues, Depression and anxiety, Resiliency and coping skills, Work-related issues, Grief and loss, Alcohol or drug use, Stress, Legal and financial issues.

Confidentiality is one of the most important features of the EAP.  No one will know that you have used this resource unless you offer that information or unless someone’s safety is threatened.

There is no cost to you for your phone calls, virtual or face-to-face visits with the EAP.  Wilson County Schools covers all expenses for this program.  

Their website is mygroup.com.  From there, you can access promotional materials and an employee orientation video by clicking on the My Portal Login and Employee tabs (not password protected).  You can also access services by clicking on the My Portal Login and Work Life tabs.  This is password protected. Please contact a representative in the WCS Human Resources Department for the password.
