WASH Centers
The Wilson Area School-Based Health Centers (WASH) provide accessible and affordable physical and preventive health services to students and staff. WASH is located at Darden Middle, Forest Hills Middle, Beddingfield High, Fike High and Hunt High Schools. All Wilson County Schools students and staff members can be seen by appointment at WASH for wellness or sick visits. WASH bills private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and has a sliding scale fee for non-insured. Same-day appointments available. There are forms that need to be completed to be seen at WASH. Access those forms from the Wilson County Health Department website.

The WASH Centers are possible because of the incredible partnership between WCS, the Healthcare Foundation of Wilson, the Wilson County Health Department and Wilson Forward. Funding for the WASH Centers and staffing support is generously provided through a grant from Healthcare Foundation of Wilson. To date, the Healthcare Foundation has invested $2.59 million in the WASH Centers.
