I am a product of Wilson County Schools which makes me the perfect advocate for our child. I attended North Carolina Wesleyan previous to transferring to THE East Carolina University. There I completed my undergraduate degree in History and English. I spent the next year as a substitute teacher at Beddingfield, where I fell in love with education. I went back to THE East Carolina University where I earned a Masters in Arts in Teaching. I spent four years at Wilson Early College teaching Social Studies, followed by three years as a College Liaison for Wilson Community College. During that time I attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington where I received my Administration add-on. I spent one year as an Assistant Principal at Jones Elementary and one year as Assistant Principal of Hunt High School. 

I love spending time with my family, playing video games, woodworking, and sports. I am excited to be part the amazing Stantonsburg Community!!!!
