Participating in athletics enables students to learn many life skills, preparing them
to become positive and integral members of society. Generally, student-athletes are
more confident individuals who are willing to take healthy risks in the classroom,

aspects of their lives. Encouraging our youth to participate in athletics improves
our chances of building the necessary foundation for success not only on the field
or court but also in the classroom and in life.
