This is my 4th year as a School Counselor at Beddingfield High School. I am first-generation high school and college graduate in my family. I completed my undergraduate work at Stony Brook University and my graduate work at St. John's University. My caseload consists of students with last names G-N. This is my 16th year in education. I have been a classroom teacher, university instructional consultant and school counselor. I graduated from ECU with my bachelor's degree in education, as well as both my master's degrees in education and school counseling. This is my second year at Beddingfield. Outside of school, I enjoy working out, reading, being outdoors, and hanging out with my husband, Doug and our two children, Lincoln and Savannah.

This is my 32nd year as a counselor and I am enjoying my part time position at BHS. I completed my undergraduate degree at UNCW and graduate degree at West Chester University in PA. I live in Wilson with my husband and two golden doodles. When not at BHS, you can find me baking or spending time being a Mimi to my grandsons.

After earning my Elementary Education degree at Appalachian State University in 2017, I found my way to an elementary classroom for 5 years. After those years of learning and growing in my career, it was time that I took a detour in education. This year will be my first year in the high school scene as an ESL teacher. We are working together to build our understanding and confidence in the English language.

I am a veteran of the United States Army. I am a wife and mother of a son who is in the United States Army. I started working with the Wilson County School system in 2018.
