This year begins my twenty first teaching year and my fourth year at Darden. Prior to teaching at Darden, I taught at Wayne Christian School in Goldsboro.

My name is Eddie Reel and I am the health and PE teacher at Darden Middle school. I am also the Cross Country coach. I am starting my 16th year teaching and have been at Darden for 13 of those years. I played baseball at Pitt Community College, and Barton College, and even played one year with the Wilson Tobs. I graduated from Barton College with a Sports Management Degree. I then worked with the Carolina Mudcats for 3 years. I went back to East Carolina to get my Physical Education Licence. I have also completed my Masters in Educational Leadership from Queens university in Charlotte.
