I graduated from Beddingfield in 2016 as a Pee Wee and Myrtle Owens scholarship recipient and went on to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. During my time in college, I studied abroad in Uruguay for a semester at la Universidad Católica del Uruguay. I graduated from UNCG in 2020 with a BA in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures and a minor in Latin American and Caribbean studies. I began my teaching career in Wayne County at Rosewood High School and worked there for two years before coming back home to Beddingfield.
