I began teaching CTE courses in Computer Science & Information Technology (CSIT) at Beddingfield in 2018. I have degrees in Mathematics and Business Administration from Barton College, graduate work in Applied Mathematics (Cryptography) and Economics at North Carolina State University, and am now working toward my MAED in Instructional Technology at East Carolina University.

I began in education, teaching Algebra and Calculus courses at NC State. Then I worked at a college preparatory school in eastern NC for 23 years, beginning as the Math Department head and then primarily finishing as the IT Director for my final 20 years. I was also the senior member of the Management Team and wore many other hats in the school for most of my tenure. I have taught math courses from grades 5 through AP Calculus AB/BC/MA 241 Calculus, as well as the bulk of the technology classes for grades 7 through 12 and occasionally classes in film and ancient civilizations. I also have had stints teaching technology classes at the Wilson Community College and working at ECU in the College of Education.

I have lived most of my life in the Wilson area except for brief stints in Richmond, VA, and Raleigh.

I started teaching in 1999. I taught Mathematics the first 8 years and then moved to the Business Department (CTE). My entire educational career has been at BHS, which happens to be where I graduated from. I completed my undergraduate studies at NC Central University in accounting, and graduate work at Walden University for my MBA in management and Barton College for my MSA in school administration. It is my desire to provide students with knowledge and skills that will help them become productive citizens in whatever career path they choose.

I was a Deputy with the Wilson County Sheriff's Office before coming to Beddingfield as a teacher.  I teach Public Safety, Law & Justice, and Career Management. I graduated from Strayer University with a degree in Business.

I started teaching at BHS in 2009. I teach Health Sciences in the CTE department. I am also a Registered Respiratory Therapist and I love all things healthcare. I love helping students explore career options in the healthcare field.

This is my 9th year teaching at Beddingfield. I am the Agriculture Education teacher, the FFA Advisor, and the 4-H Club Leader. I am married to my wife, Amber, who also teaches at Beddingfield. We have three sons (Carter, 4 years old, Jake and Wyatt, 1 year old).

This is my 4th year teaching high school but 23rd being a fire instructor. I am a retired firefighter with over 30 years of service. I love teaching and have taught through the Continuing Education department in local Community Colleges. I have a degree in Fire Technology. I am married (28yrs) and we have 2 beautiful daughters. I am the men's and women's soccer coach and big sports fan for our Bruins.

I have been with Wilson County schools for 23 years. I have been at my favorite school (BEDDINGFIELD) for the last 13 years. I graduated from ECU with a Bachelors degree in Family and Consumer Science and a minor in History. My hobbies are cooking, singing, playing with my adorable grandson and riding motorcycles. When I am at my best, I am in someone's kitchen doing what I love and that is creating good food that feeds the soul.

My name is Jennifer Polner and I am a proud graduate of East Carolina University! GO PIRATES! I graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Family and Community Services with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations. I also obtained my Master of Arts in Teaching (Family and Consumer Sciences) from ECU in 2007. I am in my 16th year of teaching. I am married to the love of my life, Scott, and we have one daughter named Jordan Marie. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to teaching your child at Beddingfield High School.

I am the Automotive Instructor and I have been teaching for 15 years. I have a degree in Business Administration from Vance-Granville Community College. I enjoy teaching students how the automobile works.

I have been in construction since my senior year in high school. It has been a very rewarding career, meeting great people and building projects that I have really enjoyed. Teaching my students what I have learned has been just as satisfying and rewarding.
