I am a product of Wilson County Schools, a North Carolina Teaching Fellow, & an ECU graduate with a B.S. in Secondary History Education. I started my teaching career at Beddingfield and am finishing up my 13th year here. I am married to Bryant Glover, the agriculture teacher here, and we have 3 handsome boys together. Our boys are Carter, Jake, & Wyatt. We have 1 cat named Dany.

This is my sixth year teaching and my third at Beddingfield! I am a proud product of Wilson County Schools and have a passion for teaching history! I have a Bachelor's from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a die-hard Tar Heel fan! Before teaching, I worked in Physical Therapy and then with the Wilson County Health Department, where I helped open the first WASH Clinic. At Beddingfield, I coach swimming and track and serve as the Co-facilitator of the Chick-fil-A Leader Academy. In my free time I love watching sports, vacationing at the beach, and spending time with my family!

In 1999, I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and a minor in Sociology. I started teaching in Wilson County at then Darden-Vick Middle School for five years before coming to Beddingfield High,. This is my 18th year in the Social Studies Department and 23rd in Education. I live in Wilson and my niece and nephew are my world. In my spare time, I enjoy officiating sports and playing golf. I was blessed to be the Head Coach of a State Championship team here at Beddingfield-the 2012 softball team. As a former Beddingfield student myself, this place has a big place of my heart.

As a graduate of Beddingfield High School (Class of 2011), a Pee Wee and Myrtle Owens Scholar, and a graduate of Barton College (with a license in Social Studies Education for grades 6-12), I am glad to be back home with the Bruins after spending my first year teaching 8th grade Social Studies at Elm City Middle School. This is my 8th year teaching overall and my 7th at Beddingfield. There is no other place I'd rather be than teaching Beddingfield students. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, playing with my dog (Buddy), watching sports, and travelling (especially to historical sites and Walt Disney World)! I am thrilled that I get to be a small part of the educational journey for so many Bruins!

I graduated from UNC-Pembroke in 2018 and taught middle school for 4 years prior to arriving at Beddingfield in 2022. History and football are important to me and I am very happy to mentor students in those areas.
