Kindergarten Registration

We are excited to welcome your kindergartner to Wilson County Schools! Parents with children who will be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31, 2025, should register their child during districtwide Kindergarten Registration in March or anytime prior to the first day of school August 25, 2025. Registration should be completed online if possible. Listed below are the steps and the registration requirements. Paper copies are also available at any of our schools. STEP 1: Enrollment Process

Kindergarten Registration Requirements

• Child must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31, 2025
• These documents are required for registration:
  • Certified Birth Certificate
  • Two (2) proofs of physical address (Property tax records, copy of a residential lease showing street address, copy of utility bill showing residential address, copy of current driver's license showing street address, copy of voter registration, copy of automobile registration showing current address)
  • Immunization record
  • Current Health Assessment

STEP 2: Kindergarten Assessment

Once the online application is completed, call your child’s school to set up an appointment for your child’s kindergarten assessment and to turn in the required documents.
