Needs Based Assistance (Fee Waivers)
TRADITIONAL SCHOOLS
All Wilson County Schools students are receiving breakfast and lunch at no cost to families this year, and we have established a process for families that would like to seek a waiver for fees associated with technology, Driver Education and testing. Families that received a Direct Services letter from School Nutrition are automatically eligible for a fee waiver. The Direct Services letters were sent to families earlier this month. You can submit this letter to your student’s school for fees to be waived. If you did not receive a Direct Services letter, your family can request a fee waiver by submitting a Needs Based Assistance Request through the form on our district website, which can be found under News or Families >Needs Based Assistance, or at this link - bit.ly/wcsneeds24. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact or visit your student’s school.
EARLY COLLEGES
All Wilson County Schools students are receiving lunch at no cost to families this year. However, we still need for WAAT and WECA families to complete the application for free and reduced price meals in order to seek a waiver for fees associated with technology, Driver Education and testing. The link to the free and reduced priced meals application can be found at https://www.myschoolapps.
