Celebrating the Class of 2026

Shout Out to the Class of 2026! We wanted to take a moment to recognize our recent graduates as they are embarking on exciting new journeys - whether it’s college, the military, or the workforce!

Here’s something to celebrate: Our 753 graduates were offered over $19 million in scholarships - $19,077,108 to be exact! Of that, $6,146,332 was accepted (many seniors receive scholarship offers from several colleges). A special Shout Out! to Wilson Early College Academy students, who were offered more than $14 million in scholarships!

More highlights from the Class of 2026:

• Latin Honors earned:

84 seniors - Summa Cum Laude (GPA 4.25+)

68 seniors - Magna Cum Laude (GPA 4.0-4.2499)

58 seniors - Cum Laude (GPA 3.75-3.99)

• Traditional high school seniors at Beddingfield, Fike, and Hunt earned 1,382 college course credits through a partnership with Wilson Community College (College and Career Promise), potentially reducing their college time by up to 2 years!

• The 123 seniors at the early colleges had the opportunity to graduate with a high school diploma and an associate degree, which equates to 2 years of college credit for those headed to college.

Future plans indicated by the graduates:

217 seniors will attend community college

294 will attend a 4-year college/university

34 will enlist in military service

128 will enter the workforce

14 will attend other postsecondary training

66 are undecided or have other plans
