Inclement Weather Update: Remote Learning Plan

Inclement Weather Update: Remote Learning Plan

Wilson County Schools is preparing for the possibility of inclement weather and school closures next week. In the event we are closed, we will shift to remote learning because we have utilized all of our banked student instructional hours. Remote learning means that students will complete assignments at home and will not report to school.

Instructional assignment packets were sent home with all K-5 students today. For students in grades 6-12, daily assignments will be posted in Google Classroom or Canvas. Your student should complete their assignments within 5 days when we return to school. Teachers will be available to provide assistance and answer questions via email and/or Class Dojo. You will receive a message daily regarding whether the district will be operating on remote learning. The K-5 assignment packets will be labeled by day for the entire week. We are not anticipating being out of school all week, but want to be prepared just in case.
