The NC Department of Public Instruction, Office of Exceptional Children (OEC), invites parents, family members and guardians of children with disabilities to participate in the annual Indicator 8 Parent Survey. Please complete the 2025-26 Indicator 8 Parent Survey by May 22, 2026. To better serve families, the short, two-minute survey allows the respondent to select from multiple languages in which to complete the survey.
The purpose of the survey is to gauge how well the school is involving parents in decisions regarding their child’s special education services. This is a performance indicator.
