Remote Learning Day - Mon., March 16

Mon., March 16 will be a Remote Learning Day for Wilson County Schools because of the threat of severe inclement weather. Assignments for elementary students will be sent via Class Dojo. Assignments for middle and high school students will be posted to Google Classroom or Canvas. Teachers will be available to provide assistance and answer questions via email and/or Class Dojo. Assignments will be posted by 9 a.m. 

This decision was made based on the latest forecast from the National Weather Service and in collaboration with Wilson County Emergency Management. All afterschool activities and athletics scheduled for March 16 are cancelled. The Before and Afterschool Care Programs and Daycare Programs will not operate. The Wilson County Board of Education meeting is cancelled for Monday night and will be rescheduled for later this month. Staff members will be provided information regarding remote work options. Please follow the guidelines provided by your principal or supervisor. Thank you and please stay safe.
