Are you interested in knowing more about WAVE? Families of students who will be in grades 8-12 next school year are invited to attend the WAVE Virtual Information Meeting on Wed., Jan. 28 at 6 p.m.
The link to the meeting is https://meet.google.com/vor-urwt-djo.
The meeting will include information on how to apply, who is eligible to attend WAVE and general information about the school. WAVE benefits families who would like for their student to stay at home for school and have access to the public school resources. Students in high school are also able to participate in sports, clubs and other school-sponsored activities. WAVE is a good fit for students who experience great success in a virtual environment and are self-motivated, organized, learn well independently and have a strong support system at home.
For questions, contact WAVE Principal Tabitha Lewis by email at tabitha.lewis@wilsonschoolsnc.net. The online application process for WAVE will open Jan. 29, 2026 through the Family Dashboard. More information will be shared at a later date.
