Shout Out! to the amazing members of our WCS Family who retired during the 2023-2024 school year! We are grateful for their selfless service to our students and schools. We wish them all the best in their retirement. They will be missed!
On June 6, a retirement celebration was held for the retirees. It was wonderful to celebrate their many years of service to WCS - 840 combined years! Special thanks to Human Resource Services for organizing the event, Wilson Academy of Applied Technology for hosting and WCS School Nutrition for catering. We also want to thank Wilson County Board of Education Chair Dr. Christine Fitch for writing one of her special poems for the retirees!
