Please enjoy this collection of recipes that were shared by our students and parents during the “One School, One Book” event held in April 2021. "The Day You Begin" is a powerful picture book that speaks directly to its readers, describing those familiar moments when a child may be marked as an outsider among their peers because of their home language, or the color of their skin, or the “different” the food they bring for lunch. Through this recipe book, we have made an effort to compile the favorite food recipes shared by our student families to foster meaningful personal connections and anchor discussion about diversity in our Jaguar community.
