Your school has been approved as a Community Eligibility School for the 22-23 school year. What this means is that all students will be able to eat breakfast and lunch at no cost. As we prepare to start the 2022-2023 school year, we wanted to share some important information with you regarding other school-related fees. Your family may be eligible for a fee waiver for technology fees, Driver Education fees, and testing fees such as SAT and ACT. If you have received a letter from our School Nutrition office stating that you qualify for free/reduced lunch, you can provide this letter to your student’s school and the fees mentioned above will be waived. If you feel that your family qualifies but you did not receive a letter from School Nutrition, you can complete the Needs Based Assistance form and submit it to the School Nutrition office. They will process these forms and notify the school if you qualify for a waiver. These forms will be returned to students after they are processed. It is best for you to complete these forms now because it takes approximately 10 business days for School Nutrition to process this information. If you have any questions, please call 252-399-7849 ext. 8534.

As we prepare to start the 2022-2023 school year we wanted to share some important information with you regarding school-related fees. You may be eligible for a fee waiver for technology fees, Driver Education fees, and testing fees such as SAT and ACT. If you have received a letter from our School Nutrition office stating that your student qualifies for free/reduced lunch, you can provide this letter to your student’s school and the fees mentioned above will be waived. If you have not received a letter but believe your family is eligible for free or reduced meals, you must complete an application. The application is available online at www.myschoolapps.com. You should complete this application as soon as possible because it takes School Nutrition approximately 10 business days to process applications. If you complete an application, a letter will be mailed to you regarding your meal status. This letter can be submitted to the school for fees to be waived. School Nutrition cannot share free/reduced information with school staff so you must submit the letter to the school. If you have any questions regarding this process you can contact School Nutrition at 252-399-7849 ext. 8534.
