The deadline is approaching to register for the Summer Accelerator Program - Fri., April 12. Wilson County Schools is excited to offer the Summer Accelerator Program at no cost to families of students who are entering grades 6-9.
Students are invited to participate in mini-courses based on their interests. All students who attend Accelerator will have the opportunity to meet local industry leaders, gain real world experience and attend field trips to local businesses.
The dates for the program are July 8-25, (M-TH). The hours are 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the location is Fike High School. (Students who sign up for the Agriculture or Architecture mini-courses will be shuttled to Beddingfield High School and then brought back to Fike for dismissal). Transportation, as well as breakfast and lunch, will be provided.
