Wilson County Schools is offering No Cost Summer Meals to all children ages 18 years old or younger during the summer. Families can pick up meals at Hearne Elementary, Lucama Elementary, Vick Elementary and Wells Elementary from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We also have mobile routes this year with stops in several locations. A flyer with more information about the times and locations is posted below. Only students or their parent/guardian can pick up meals. A release form, which is available at the sites, is required in order to pick up meals.

The sites operate Monday through Thursday and are closed on Fridays. Meals consist of a nutritious, hot lunch and a shelf stable breakfast for the following day. On Thursday, students receive lunch for Thursday, breakfast and lunch for Friday and breakfast for Monday. Summer meals will be provided through Aug. 8 and are possible because of federal funds.
