Based on the latest weather forecast briefing from the National Weather Service and in conjunction with guidance from Wilson County Emergency Management, Wilson County Schools will be closed for all students and staff Fri., Sept. 27. Wind gusts are forecasted to now exceed safe limits for bus travel and have increased since the 6 p.m. briefing. The potential for tornados has also risen.
